Rules
Acceptable Use Policy
This Acceptable Use Policy applies to the StreamPilot website, Panel, APIs, scheduling tools, recording automation, storage, managed app services and any content, stream, metadata or integration connected to StreamPilot.
1. Illegal activity
You must not use StreamPilot for unlawful activity, fraud, sanctions evasion, illegal broadcasting, unlawful surveillance, sale of illegal goods or services, incitement to violence, terrorist content, exploitation, abuse or any activity that would expose StreamPilot or other customers to legal risk.
2. Copyright and licensing
You must not upload, stream, publish, record, distribute or make available content unless you have the necessary rights, permissions and licences. This includes music, DJ mixes, radio shows, artwork, logos, jingles, podcasts, images, written descriptions and third-party branding. You are responsible for music licensing, performance rights and copyright compliance.
3. Spam and abusive communications
You must not use StreamPilot to send spam, phishing, misleading messages, abusive listener communications, unlawful marketing, unsolicited bulk messages or content designed to deceive users.
4. Harassment and harmful content
You must not use StreamPilot to publish or promote harassment, hate speech, threats, doxxing, intimidation, sexual exploitation, unlawful discriminatory content, malicious impersonation or content that targets individuals or groups for abuse.
5. Platform misuse
You must not interfere with the operation of StreamPilot, bypass access controls, scrape private data, create unauthorised accounts, share credentials, tamper with audit logs, manipulate billing events, abuse app build systems, overload recording automation or use the service in a way that harms other customers.
6. API abuse
You must not use APIs in a way that causes excessive load, bypasses rate limits, attempts unauthorised access, enumerates users, extracts data beyond your account, attacks endpoints, stores credentials insecurely or disrupts normal platform operations. We may rate-limit, suspend or revoke API access where necessary.
7. Security attacks
You must not attempt vulnerability scanning without permission, denial-of-service attacks, brute force attacks, credential stuffing, malware distribution, unauthorised penetration testing, exploitation, privilege escalation, session hijacking, webhook spoofing or any attempt to compromise StreamPilot, customers or third-party providers.
8. Excessive resource usage
You must not consume storage, bandwidth, processing, API calls, recording automation, app build resources or support resources in a way that is unreasonable for your plan or harmful to service stability. We may restrict, throttle, queue, charge for or suspend excessive usage.
9. App store and managed app compliance
For Managed App Service customers, you must comply with Apple and Google policies, provide accurate app metadata, avoid misleading claims, maintain lawful content and respond to store compliance requests. Content or conduct that causes store rejection or removal is your responsibility.
10. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations and may remove content, disable APIs, suspend accounts, pause recording automation, block checkout, stop app submissions, terminate services or report unlawful activity to authorities. We may act without prior notice where needed to protect security, legality, third parties or service stability.
11. Reporting abuse
Report abuse to hello@streampilot.co.uk with as much detail as possible, including URLs, account names, timestamps, screenshots and the reason for concern.
